Congratulations to Brady Archie on achieving his HVAC diploma from TCAT! Brady has made history as the first Greenfield School student to complete a TCAT program before graduating from high school. He received his TCAT diploma today and will officially graduate from Greenfield High School on May 16, 2025. Brady has already secured a position with Culley Mechanical Services, LLC in Paris, TN. We couldn't be more proud of Brady's exceptional hard work and dedication in completing his HVAC program ahead of high school graduation! His achievement is a shining example of determination and perseverance, and we are excited to see all the incredible things he will accomplish in the future. Way to go, Brady!

Ms Mikaela’s fifth grade participated in a Science Lab- Bouncy Egg Experiment- they learned egg shells are made of calcium carbonate and when put in vinegar for 24 to 48 hours the vinegar will dissolve their shell becoming a bouncy egg. They held it and let go of the egg from 11 inches before it burst.

Happy Tasty Tuesday! Our Pre-K friends had a sweet time celebrating Week of the Young Child by making homemade ice cream! 🍦 From mixing up the ingredients to watching the magic happen, our little chefs learned all about how ice cream is made—with lots of giggles and teamwork along the way. The best part? Enjoying their chilly, tasty creations! What is Week of the Young Child? 🎉 This special week, sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), is a time to celebrate early learning, young children, their teachers, families, and communities! Each day this week highlights a different theme—like Tasty Tuesday, Work Together Wednesday, and more—designed to spotlight the importance of play, creativity, and connection in early childhood education. We’re so excited to celebrate our amazing little learners all week long with fun, hands-on activities that nurture growth, curiosity, and joy! Stay tuned as we share our daily adventures!

Bethel University’s PA department visited Dresden Middle School 7th graders this week, bringing science to life! The students who had been studying the heart and lungs in their health science classes had the chance to dive deeper with hands-on learning about these organs. Great job as always by Kerri Smith and the PA team for dedicating their time, and career coach Mrs. Mindy Thomas for organizing such an impactful day for the 7th grade!

Schools across Weakley County hosted Veterans Day programs yesterday to honor and celebrate the brave veterans who have selflessly served our country. Each program was a powerful reminder of the courage, dedication, and love for our country that our veterans possess. We appreciate the hard work and planning that goes into each program to both honor our heroes and educate our students on the service and sacrifice of those who risk their lives for our country and the values of democracy. Thank you to our speakers, local veterans, and community participants for being a valued part of such an important day!
